Filecoin Orbit India Hackathon is a 10 day long hackathon organized by Loarr in partnership with the Filecoin foundation with the goal of inspiring and fostering a community of builders promoting technological advancements in the Web3 space.
Packed with amazing sessions by industry experts and workshops, we invite you to grab the opportunity to interact and learn from the leading minds in the ecosystem and build secure and innovative decentralized applications for the future.
In a universe of infinite possibilities, you have 30 days to innovate, brainstorm and show us what you've got!
Original work: All submissions must be the original work of the participants. Plagiarism of code or any other form of intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
Team size: Each team can consist of a minimum of 1 member and a maximum of 6 members. Teams can be formed in advance or at the hackathon.
Code of Conduct: All submissions must comply with Devfolio's Code of Conduct. Any submission that violates the Code of Conduct will be disqualified.
Filecoin Mainnet: All submissions must be deployed over the Filecoin Mainnet/Testnet. Participants are encouraged to use the latest version of the Filecoin network for their solutions.
Submission deadline: All submissions must be completed and submitted on Devfolio by April 16th. Late submissions would not be accepted.
Problem statement: Participants are free to choose any problem statement that they want to solve. However, the solution should be related to Filecoin's decentralized storage network.
Judging criteria: The submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:
Innovation and creativity
Impact and scalability
Technical excellence
Use of Filecoin
Prize pool: The top 3 winners of the hackathon will receive a prize pool of $500 (USD 500) to help them further develop their solutions.
Rights to solutions: Participants will retain ownership of their solutions. However, by submitting their solutions, participants grant the organizing committee the right to showcase their solutions to the public.
